I have yet to take the plunge with WA, but I have committed myself that I will be on Monday, 26/06/23 (or 06/26/23 if you’re on the other side of the pond).
I have cleared my schedule for the week with the intent of fully maximising my 7-day free trial to learn and soak in as much content as I can.
I have spent the past 7 weeks researching, researching oh, and a bit more researching, trying to find the best platform for developing an online business. I have in those 7 weeks come across some rather shady characters, offering the world provided I hand over x amount of up front fees (of course), which I have found quite overwhelming and sad to realise there are so many shady types out there seeking to take advantage of those less knowledgeable and somewhat vulnerable in the online business world.
Then I happened to stumble across WA, Tim (Affiliate Journal) and your good self.
My oh my, what a breathe of fresh air you all are! Everything I am now reading is lifting my energy rather than deflating it.
I am incredibly excited to get going and connect with you all and start my online journey!

I loved your article “My Wealthy Affiliate Review- The Ultimate Platform for Business Success.” And I couldn’t agree more! Starting a business, whether that be an online one, or a physical one, such as a retail store, is challenging work. I’ve been a retail store owner for nearly 6 years now. The first 3 years were really difficult.
We scraped by making just enough money to pay our own wages. In year 4, we started to turn some decent profit, and in years 4.5- 5.5, thus far, we are making enough money to pay our own weekly wages, keep our business afloat, pay all our necessary expenses involved, and have a little extra left over. But ALL of this wouldn’t have been possible if we only put a month or 6 months into our business venture and said, “This isn’t worth it. We should quit!” Day 1 was just as important as today is 5.5 years later.
I see people quitting before they even start with their website/ business or skipping steps; I even chatted with someone today who has been with WA for 3 years and was debating quitting because “I have a website, but I’ve never made a single penny from it.” I asked questions, but they never answered.
Assumably, they skipped a few steps in the training, unfortunately. You can’t do this! If you follow the training letter by letter to a T, and you heed their directions, and create the necessary quality content on your website is required, you will eventually be able to turn a profit and be the owner of a successful online business. But, this isn’t possible if you quit in the first week, first 6 months, or even 3 years after skipping important training steps. NEVER QUIT!!!
It takes TIME and MONEY to create a successful business. You have to spend money to make money. Would you apply to college or university and not expect to pay any tuition, buy textbooks, or be required to wear a specific uniform/ purchase tools for your respective program, job, or trade? No, obviously not! These are necessary steps in training for the job or field you want to eventually work in one day after graduating from your program or course.
Business is no different. When you own a retail store, you need office supplies, a calculator, a cash register, special paper and sales books/ accounting books, shelving units to store your products on, glass cases to showcase your products in for your potential customers, cleaning supplies to clean all of those surfaces, signs for your store, or maybe posters for when you want to have a sale or promotion within your store, etc.
You need to pay an accountant, and maybe you need someone to install the signs you had made for the top of the building your store is located in, perhaps an electrician to make sure everything is up-to-code commercially and electrically for your store, etc. These items and services ALL COST MONEY!! Creating and running an online business is the same. You need the proper tools and resources to get the job done.
In my opinion, WA memberships are cost-efficient and effective, and they are the best platform I have seen yet for what tools and resources you are allotted to create a business within their platform. I’ve been with them since 2015, and I had to opt out for a bit because life became busy, but I returned this year in March 2023 with a new business idea, and I am LOVING it ALL. I’m super glad I returned when my headspace was in a better place to be able to pitch my new idea for a new website wholeheartedly.
WA has become my online home. Truly it has. The help and advice you get from other more experienced WA users, along with WA’s founders (Kyle and Carson), is incomparable to any other platform I’ve used before. The experience you will get with using WA is SUPERB. I HIGHLY recommend them personally!
And I am a business owner. I know what it takes to create a successful business. It’s hard work and often long hours of work; it’s often saying, “Hey, tomorrow will be better. It’s gotta be, right? Since today was a pretty bad day, we didn’t see any customers.” But you will see customers and earn a profit one day. I PROMISE you that. It just takes TIME!! Often, a LOT of time and hard work! But IT IS POSSIBLE.
And it all comes down to YOU and what YOU are willing to put into it. YOUR effort, YOUR time, YOUR hard work. THAT’S what it takes to become the owner of a successful business.
YOU will fail, YOU will make mistakes, and YOU will learn from those failures and mistakes. And one day, YOU will make $$. And YOU will be the proud owner of a successful business.
